Kyle Thompson is a passionate Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) with over six years of hands-on experience in the world of clinical trials. His journey has taken him through a variety of therapeutic areas, including Dermatology, Rare Diseases, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Infectious Diseases, Cardiology, and Oncology.

Currently, Kyle works at JOIY Clinical Research Consulting, where he plays a key role in implementing and monitoring clinical trials. He ensures that everything runs smoothly and adheres to regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP). His responsibilities include assessing investigative sites, developing patient recruitment strategies, and verifying data accuracy—crucial steps in advancing medical research.

Before joining JOIY, Kyle gained valuable experience at ICON PLC and previously at JOIY Clinical Research Consulting, where he managed site operations for Phase I to IV clinical trials. He’s well-versed in using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) to ensure compliance and streamline processes, and he takes pride in maintaining the highest standards for data integrity and investigational drug management. Kyle’s career began at White Plains Hospital, where he coordinated clinical trials focused on cancer research. This role helped him develop strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of medical terminology, allowing him to collaborate effectively with both clinical teams and patients.

What truly drives Kyle is his enthusiasm for new drug development and the positive impact it can have on patient care. He values building relationships and enjoys sharing complex clinical information with diverse audiences in an engaging way.

Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mercy College and is a proud member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. His blend of practical experience and academic knowledge makes him a dedicated and approachable professional in the clinical research field.
